Propertyworld is pleased to offer this unique 1930s THREE bedroom end of terrace house with OFF STREET PARKING for 2 cars and GARAGE to the sales market. Sitting on a much wider plot than all neighbouring properties and therefore with a much larger garden, this lovely family home is spacious, fabulously light and ready for some lucky family to call home. The plot means there is HUGE POTENTIAL for both a side and rear extension (subject to obtaining the correct permission). The Peak is a wonderful residential cul de sac in the heart of Upper Sydenham, within the catchment of St Barts Primary School and close to all local amenities plus both Sydenham and Forest Hill mainline stations. Rare to the market, this fabulous property includes: on the ground floor - attractive lounge with neutral decor and bay window to front which floods the room in light, gas fire with surround and fitted carpets, to rear there is second reception room/ dining room which opens directly into the fabulous garden, the room is neutrally decorated with fitted carpets, the kitchen is a galley style and equipped with a range of shaker style wall and base units, timber fronted with a tiled splashback, all appliances, tongue and groove ceiling, plus door leading to the private patio Walking upstairs to the first floor you can struck by the double glazed window in the external wall which floods the hallway in light and offers views to the local area, on the first floor itself there are two generous DOUBLE bedrooms with extensive built in storage, fitted carpets and neutral decor plus a smaller third bedroom. The bathroom is nicely sized in our opinion with a three bathroom suite plus separate W.C, whilst above there is a spacious loft with velux windows to side, electricity and full boarded floor. Other properties on the road have extended into this space to create fabulous double bedroom and en suite bathroom - with the correct permissions a similar conversion could be completed. The garage is accessed via remotely controlled electronic doors or the side door through the spacious rear garden. The garden itself is an oasis of calm and peace with fabulous views into the local neighbour and includes two patio areas. This is a genuinely gorgeous family house, located in wonderful residential cul de sac, with PARKING, A GARAGE and a beautiful rear garden. This is a unique opportunity so call Propertyworld now on 0208 488 0011 to view.
Our vendor loves
"When my wife and I first viewed this house in 1998, we fell in love with its homely, cosy, tranquil feeling and with he privacy and views over Sydenham Hill/Dulwich Woods and the lights of London in the distance. Bright and airy interior and to open the patio doors in summer and sit on the top or lower patios in what can only be described as a secluded Garden nature reserve. Many breeds of birds, including jays, my dear Robins and wrens, sparrows and tits along with squirrels and other animals Heaven and we had many family parties/BBQ's over the years with lovely Neighbours joining in. No through traffic in this cul-de-sac and a street party is held every year With all our neighbours and friends. The open front drive way allows us plenty of parking space for family And friends with close railway stations and buses (all night) from London/ Croydon and the renowned local primary school nearby, makes this Ideally situated. My wife and I bought the house there and then for the asking price Thank God we did. I will be very sad to leave such a lovely home, but hope that the new Owners will love it as much as we did.
