Propertyworld has great pleasure in presenting this truly stunning, two double bedroom, and top floor apartment set within an iconic Mansion building that comes with a huge communal garden. Every detail of this incredible property is on point; from the high ceilings and period features to the cutting edge contemporary kitchen diner and high specification finish. Presented in warm neutral tones, the apartment is blessed with an abundance of natural sunlight and views to die for through the huge original sash windows. The accommodation is exceptionally spacious, light and airy, and finished to the highest standard throughout. You enter the property into a large central hallway, with original stripped wooden flooring that allows access and views into many of the rooms. The reception room is truly delightful, measuring over 17ft by 12, with three large original sash windows with a Westerly aspect, that flood the room in natural sunlight. The room is large enough to accommodate a spacious seating area as well as a space for dining or home office (although there is also a kitchen diner). Plush carpets underfoot and a sophisticated colour palette all add to the rich sense of quality. The main bedroom is equally impressive at nearly 14 ft by 13ft. The second bedroom is also a comfortable double with West facing views toward Crystal Palace. The kitchen diner is, as you would expect, equally impressive. Sleek white fitted wall and base units are complemented by a solid work top, and, naturally, come with integrated appliances. The contemporary bathroom with high specification wall and floor tiles and clean white three piece suite is the perfect haven to unwind after a tough day. Unusually the property also has access to a huge loft which can be used for storage.
The garden, shared with the other owners, is huge and well maintained. Whilst you have Crystal palace Park on your doorstep it's always nice to have that little bit of outside space for yourself isn't it?
Anerley Park is a prestigious tree lined boulevard close to Crystal Palace that is served by three mainline train stations within walking distance. Crystal Palace Park is on your doorstep, as are a multitude of bars, gastropubs, independent shops and cafes. Rarely offered to the market you simply must view this gem to fully appreciate it!
Our Vendor Loves...
"When we first saw this home (after viewing a huge number of properties), we fell in love immediately. It has so much striking character. Being on the top floor we have views spanning miles over Beckenham & Bromley from the kitchen and bathroom windows. It's quite a sight on Bonfire night and NYE when all the firework displays are going off at once. The sun comes up through the kitchen in the morning, and then sets in the lounge in the afternoon, so we get lots of natural light throughout the day.
The high ceilings and spacious rooms have made the transition to working from home for both of us very easy (and thankfully able to work in separate rooms!). We enjoy entertaining, so really love having the space for a dining table in both the kitchen and lounge, and the communal garden is great for summer. The loft has also been a huge bonus; it spans the length of the whole of the flat, so we've never struggled for storage space. We're spoilt with Anerley, Penge West & Crystal Palace stations all within easy walking distance; ideal for commuting to London or going abroad via Gatwick. We're a 5-minute walk from Crystal Palace Park for a stroll or brunch / coffee at the Brown & Green café. With lots of new shops popping up on Anerley Road, Penge High Street, the infamous Crystal Palace Triangle (we still haven't managed to try every restaurant up there but will pass on our recommendations), and the new Everyman Cinema, there's always something to do. We also love the Bridge House as our local pub it has a great beer garden, regular quizzes, and live music nights. Last but not least, we love the new Crystal Palace Park Market every Sunday - you can get fresh organic local produce, award-winning street food, craft beers, and even Crosstown doughnuts! We have been really happy here and will be sad to leave. Not least of all, to say goodbye to our wonderful neighbours.
