Property Description

Propertyworld is delighted to present this stunning, two double bedroom, two bathroom period conversion flat with a share of a gorgeous rear garden and off-street parking. Having been completely renovated approximately 5 years ago, the specification is of an exacting standard, with high quality finishes throughout. The accommodation is almost 750 square feet, bright and airy with an abundance of natural light. The flat itself is located on the first floor of a handsome detached Victorian villa, nestled between Sydenham and Penge East. The reception room and kitchen are open plan, and at over 22 ft length, has ample space for a designated dining area as well as a generous living area. A large East facing window ensures the room receives a huge amount of natural light. The oak flooring runs throughout this room and extends through the hallway giving the property a stylish modern feel. The kitchen, naturally, is packed with all the integrated appliances you would expect including dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob, extractor and even wine cooler. The design incorporates a useful breakfast bar for casual dining or home work space although the current owners also enjoy the use of a large dining table for more formal affairs. The main bedroom to the rear of the property has views over the extensive West facing garden that is shared with just a couple of flats and rarely used. As you would expect, it boasts an ensuite bathroom with a huge double width walk in shower with an integrated rainfall shower system. The second bedroom is also a generous double. Finally, the main bathroom, a stunning space with striking, designer floor tiles, separate walk in shower and bath. The property comes with share of freehold and a 990 plus lease, and off-street parking to the front. The rear garden is West facing, receiving direct sun throughout the day, with a manicured lawn, mature trees and shrubs and raised beds. Whilst shared with a couple of other flats, it is rarely used, and is most definitely a space you will feel at home in to entertain friends or simply relax.

The location is another huge plus. A stone throw from Penge East train station (fast, direct services to Victoria) and a short walk to Sydenham train (18 minutes to London Bridge and access via the Overgound line to all of London). The centres of both Sydenham and Penge and all easily walkable providing a huge array of restaurants, destination gastropubs, cafes and independent shops.

This gem certainly has the wow factor and we anticipate huge demand. Register your interest today!

Our vendor loves...
'We love our flat and are always complimented on it's size, location and exterior look. The rooms all have high ceilings, giving the feeling of even more space throughout and thanks to large windows, the whole flat is light and bright. The rooms are a great size, allowing you to play with layouts to maximise the space anyway you want, and our neighbours are great, always happy to help and socialise. It is located perfectly between Sydenham and Penge East high streets and their respective train stations (4 minute walk), making it the ideal location to get to anywhere in Central London. A short walk to Crystal Palace triangle, with great independent shops, pubs, and restaurants, along with plenty of green spaces.'
