Our vendor loves...
'As soon as we saw this flat over 6 years ago, we fell in love with its charm and history. Each room fills with natural light throughout different parts of the day - thanks to the enormous original windows- and with the high ceilings, you feel a real sense of space. We loved it as it felt unique and this is something we really tried to maintain as we renovated throughout. It was important for us to balance modern whilst still retaining the charm of the past in each room.
A ground floor at the front, but raised at the rear so there's privacy whilst still having nice views of the garden from the master bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
We didn't know much about the area, but over time it's become the perfect location for us to enjoy the balance of city & suburban life with Sydenham station offering fantastic links to central London in under 20 minutes. With Crystal Palace park a short 5 minute walk away, and both Sydenham and Forest Hill high streets offering an abundance of restaurants (Mamma Dough, The Greyhound & Trattoria Raafaele) and the relaxed cafe culture we love, it will be hard to say goodbye to this thriving area.'
